Table ordering with QR codes

With easydine, every table in your dining room gets its own QR code. Guests point their phone camera at it, open the menu, and place the order themselves, without waiting for someone to take it down. The order lands instantly in the kitchen and on your team's dashboard.

How it works​

Everything happens in the guest's phone browser. There's nothing to install: not for your guests, not for your team.

Generate QR codes for your tables​

Go to Orders → Configurations in the panel and register your tables. easydine generates a unique QR code for each table. You can download them one by one or all at once, ready to print and place on the tables.

Practical tip

Laminate the QR codes or use table stands. That way they survive cleaning, grease, and the everyday wear of a busy dining room.

Guests order on their own​

After scanning the code, guests see your full menu, with photos, prices, combos, and dietary badges. They can:

  • Add notes to any item, like "no onions" or "well done";
  • Order another round whenever they like, without flagging anyone down;
  • Track the order status in real time, right on their phone.

For your staff, that means fewer trips back and forth and fewer orders written down wrong. And tables turn faster.

Asking for the check​

When they're done, guests ask for the check from their own phone. At that moment, the table stops accepting new orders automatically. No one can add items after the check has been requested. Your team sees the request in Orders → Open Tables, where they can review the items, split the check per person, print it, and close the table. Learn more in order management.

What it costs​

Orders placed at the table via QR code carry no easydine fee. The only fee there is applies to delivery orders paid online: 10% per sale, with card processing already included. At the table, the full sale amount is yours.
